The old Admiralty FTP download site has now been retired by the Admiralty. You need to use the new Admiralty File share service.
The site is a normal web site (HTTPS) so any of the main browsers such as Edge, Chrome, Firefox can be used..

Note:
The web site is effectively a search engine rather than a 'user friendly web' site..

The following information should enable you to use the site

1. Create an account - this is free to do on the site.

2. Enter a search word for what you want to download

Some examples

You can then filter the search by selecting the filter button, currently on the left of the web page.
The filter options displayed vary depending on the search.

For example to get latest AVCS DVD

Select the required filter, and use the filter button towards the bottom of the page to filter
Gives the flowing result use the pull down on the right to select the files required.

If downloading ISO files, you can either burn a DVD directly or use a utility such a 7zip to write the files to your hard disk

For AVCS users
There is an option to create an AVCS exchange set. This can make updates easier and quicker and with smaller downloads.
The option can be found on the upper right of the web page. Exchange sets.

To use you will need your permit file. Currently the service has a limit of 250 cells.

Note: The ADP dates are the base program dates, program and data updates occur from within the installed ADP programs.
