#Problem
seaPro won't start
#Solution
A. The dongle is not the correct type.
Check that you are not trying to run seaPro with a seaPro lite dongle.
Check that you have the latest dongle upgrade if you have installed a new version of seaPro.
Check you are using a version of seaPro suitable for the operating system
B. Driver installation
The wrong or older driver might be installed (can occur if the dongle is inserted before seapro is installed)
Try re-installing seaPro
if this fails you may need to uninstall the previous driver
While the dongle plugged in Open the Device manager.
Navigate to USB devices and delete (including driver) the HASP and Aladdin drivers
Remove the dongle and re-install seaPro
C. Administrative privileges
seaPro needs to installed using an administrative account.
Note: Vista - make sure you have sutable read and write permissions, this can be a problem if using a computer that is/has been part
of a busness network where the system hasnbeen deliberatly locked down for security reasons.
D. If using a Parallel dongle - port might not set up correctly.
Check the BIOS to ensure that the parallel port has been set to Bi-directional.
Note: Printer port emulators will not work and you will need to update to a USB dongle
Another device is trying to use the parallel port
Check that no other program is using the parallel port. If you feel that it is try to disable that program
Locate the latest drivers for that device from the web. This may correct the problem.
If the above does not work, uninstall the software in question.
