#Summary
After adding new ARCS/Seafarer (skipper)
charts my old charts are lost.
#Problem
New chart updates have been added to old
charts without a new permit.
#Solution.
You will need to re-load all of your
ARCS charts in date order. To do
this you must complete the following:-
Open
“windows explorer” locate the “Arcs” folder. This is found in the “Charts” folder, which will be in the route
of your
C:\ drive. (If defaults have been used in the original installation
of seaPro) i.e. C:\Charts\Arcs
Select
the contents of the “Arcs” folder and delete everything. Leaving an empty Arcs folder.
Open
seaPro, select “Install chart…” from the “Chart” menu.
Select
“ARCS”, then “Next”.
Follow
the installer. Installing your
oldest charts first and working forwards to your latest charts and updates.
IMPORTANT!
When you are given an option to install “all charts” you should change
this to “new or updated charts”, this will ensure that each chart
installation will relate to the relevant permits and updates. Do this for all chart installations.
Always keep your original ARCS Skipper
CDROMS/ permit disks safe they cannot be replaced
