#Summary
I'm using Vista/Windows 7 and seaPro will not install
seaPro 3000 is fully Vista/Windows 7 compatible (if you have an earlier version you will need to upgrade - contact your supplier).
Ensure you have downloaded the latest seaPro 3000 version and have the latest Microsoft Vista/Windows 7updates installed (inc SP1).
Microsoft Vista and Win 7 updates are vital to ensure your PC works correctly (and not just for seaPro!).
Although Vista/Win 7 is more secure than earlier versions of Windows, this has come at a price - ease of use. To install any drivers you need to have Administraive rights.
To install seaPro you need to use an administrative account you may also need to run it as Admistrator (even if you are running an Administrator account) by right clicking on the installer and selecting run as administrator.
Or alternativly reduce the settings of the User Access Control (UAC) in Control panel->User Accounts. This should not be set higher than default.
Also check that the system has not been set up with restricted proivalages such as might be found on a company machine. If this is the case you will need to contact you PC administrator/Tech support department.
