#Summary
Downloading the update CD's is a cost effective way of receiving your weekly updates, saving delivery time and postage costs
The updates and area disks for UKHO digital products are available via the UKHO public FTP download site using the following settings:

Username: ukhopublic
Password: Public12345
Note: The username and password details are case sensitive.
IMPORTANT: Note you need to have the appropriate permits/licenses to use these CD's. They are copy protected and without these the data can't be installed
Call Euronav sales to purchase a licence if you don't have one.
Which files to download?
This depends on what you order, the required CD's will be listed on the notification email or sheet that comes with your permits
Two formats are available:
.iso (for burning only to CD with suitable software)
or
.zip, which can be expanded to a folder and then burnt to a CD if required.
The .zip format is recommended, and can be used used directly from an unzipped folder if your system allows it - seaPro does for ARCS and AVCS installation.
File names - How to read what they are:
The UKHO web site is inconsistent with the use of file names,so this is just a guide - by looking at the file name you can work out what each one is.
A typical file name looks like this
AVCS_WK03_11_cd1.zip
This is read as AVCS service, for Week 03 in 2011 CD1 (or base CD1)
and
AVCS_Wk05_11.zip
AVCS service week 5 in 2011 update

You will required the appropriate base CD's and the latest update CD
Note: You only need the latest.
