When installing seaPro the error message ' Missing or corrupt ini file. Try re-installing' is displayed

Solution

This can be caused by a  Windows security level  setting

If using Windows 7 or Vista

1. Try right clicking on the seaProUpdate.exe and then run as Administrator.

2., Alternatively -  Try lowering the User Access Control (UAC) in Control Panel then Users option ,  move the slider downwards till installation works.

If neither of the above works or if using Windows XP:

Check that

1. That the folder is not read only  Right click on the Euronav folder then properties. If Read only is highlighted, un-tick, and press OK
When offer choose to change folder and all sub folders etc.

2.  That you have permission to access the folder (default c:\Euronav\seaPro3000)
