To do a complete re-install
Important this will also delete any routes, logs, overlays etc
Take a backup if you want to re-use these.
Uninstall
- Un-install seaPro using the Windows control panel 'Programs and features' or similar option (depends on operating system)
- Delete the Euronav installation folder, default should be c:\euronav
- Delete the chart folder (c:\charts)
Check your system (you can skip this section, and if problem not resolved repeat including this stage)
- Run Microsoft Error checking on your hard disk - Right click on drive, select properties, then tools
Select option to fix any problems found
- Check that you have all the latest Windows updates installed for your operating system XP SP3, Vista SP2 and Windows 7 SP1
(Right click on my computer and then properties and/or use Windows Update to check)
- Using the seaPro DVD or CD1, browse to the utils folder and run the ResetFolders.exe
If you have an earlier CD the program can be downloaded from

Use the default settings (‘Start again’ and ‘Set the default chat location’)
The utility will set the default installation folders to ensure seaPro is not installed into a restricted Windows folder.
Install a clean version of seaPro
- Re-install seaPro, use the default options
- Re-install your Livecharts (unlock), other charts such as S57, ARCS, Navionics cartridges cartridges and any Tidal data
if you have a backup from a working system, then this can be used instead of re-installing.
Note: There is no need to re-enter any unlock codes for program upgrades such as Navionics, latest version etc
Latest seaPor installs can be installed from (only download the same major version as you have been using 6.x, or 7.x/8.x)
