| Removal and  clean install of seaPro The following are instructions on how to do a full  removal of seaPro from your PC system. This might be useful if there is a problem starting seaPro due to a corrupted file or hard disk etc. Note: This will remove all files including any user information including overlays and waypoints stored within the seaPro folders.
 Some steps are Operating system specific so use the following as a guide.
 1. Uninstall seaProUsing the Windows Control panel Programs and Features
 
 2. Delete the chart folder -          The default location is c:\charts
 
 3. Delete the Euronav folder  - 
              Default location c:\euronav
 4. Reset the  registry for seaProOn the seaPro DVD browse to the folder  utils and run the program ResetFolders. Uses the setting shown here (start again ticked)
 5. Removal of the dongle driver (only necessay if causing a problem)See tech note TN048
 
 If you are going to re-install seaPro you may want to remove the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime. Only do this if you are going to re-install seaPro as they may be used by other programs. How to uninstall Microsoft Runtimes TN055
 Before re-installing seaProIf you are having problems with your PC or an error is occuring not related to the dongle or security when starting seaPro the following is recommended:
 
 1 . Do a full disk check on the C: drive
 From my computer (or windows explorer,  right click on drive c:, select properties and then tools.  Select check drive for errors, and check for  all items when asked. 
              Your machine will probably need to be  restarted.
 2. Repeat the above and choose the   Defragmentation option. Re-install seaPro Re-install seaPro and check if working
 Re-install charts or copy c:\charts folder  from known working backup
