The AIS engine comes complete with a data cable to connect to a 9 pin serial port (or via a USB to serial converter) on a PC and a 12 volt power cable - Just add a standard VHF marine antenna to complete the installation.
The AIS engine is compatible with all current versions of seaPro (inc free version) as well as any other software or hardware that can accept the NMEA 0183 output (VDM sentence).
Although this is a single channel unit it can still receive both of the standard A and B AIS channels by switching automatically between the two frequencies.
Want higher performance and a better specification? Then the USB dual channel AIS receiver gives an improved performance and comes complete with a USB interface removing the need for an additional serial port on the PC.
